In this role, you will be the key driver of sales growth within the sheet metal industry, leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to connect with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions. This is a counter role position helping customers with new and in production orders. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and foster long-term relationships with customers, helping them achieve their project goals efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge with proactive sales strategies in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Engage with prospective and existing clients to promote sheet metal orders. Identify customer needs by analyzing project requirements and providing expert guidance on product selection and customization options. Develop and present compelling proposals that highlight the benefits of our sheet metal offerings, ensuring alignment with client specifications. Collaborate closely with department manager on follow ups, ready orders, to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records via our CRM Job Nimbus, Proposals and billings via Quick Books Be able to work with other team members Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and exceed expectations. Requirements Proven experience in technical sales or product-focused sales roles within the sheet metal and or roofing industry. Strong analysis skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions effectively. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple client accounts efficiently. Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging product demos and technical presentations confidently. Knowledge of Quick Books and or Job Nimbus or willingness to learn. Effective communication skills for building rapport with clients and collaborating across teams. A proactive approach to sales combined with a passion for understanding complex technical products.
