Electrical Estimator

Job Overview As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry by analyzing project specifications and preparing cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution. Duties

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Utilize software such as Bluebeam, EBM, Procore, etc. for estimating purposes
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate project costing
• Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and conditions
• Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations
• Provide support in developing project proposals and bid packages Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in electrical projects
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, methods, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam or similar tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Must be able to work independently with attention to detail.
