Interface with clients and their representatives Ensure that technical specifications and designs are feasible Ensure that consistent with industry standards Develop accurate and complete job estimates Identify project labor, material, and time requirements Study proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to know project scope Conduct review and take-off of blueprints Solicit bids from subcontractors Gather subcontractor pricing and conduct scope review Evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure full scope of work was considered Calculate costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials Collaborate with the client to help them achieve their project cost budget
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience estimating Strong communication and organizational skills Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered Conceptual, Schematic Design, and Design Development Construction document budgets and estimates
