Drywall Estimator/Project Manager Jobs in Ormond Beach,FL,US

Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in concrete projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid processes, and supporting project planning for commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, rebar, and structural components
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Develop accurate pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction and bid phases
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing
• Participate in bid reviews and project handoffs to operations teams
• Ensure all estimates align with project scope, timelines, and budget expectations Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator , preferably in concrete or commercial construction
• Strong proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience estimating concrete scopes (foundations, slabs, rebar, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in commercial or vertical construction projects
• Background working with general contractors or subcontractors
• Knowledge of local construction market and pricing trends Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:

$75,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)

Annual Bonus:

20% - 30% of base salary
