Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project specifications and requirements. Analyze project drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine costs. Source and evaluate vendor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions. Assist in preparing project budgets and timelines for management review. Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimates. The Successful Applicant A successful Junior Estimator should have: Experience with cost estimation in construction, particularly within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing technical documents. Proficiency with estimation software and tools. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with project teams and vendors. A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
