Full-Time About Gulfport Industries Gulfport Industries is a growing manufacturer of hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural door components supplying customers across North America. We are known for quality manufacturing, fast lead times, and exceptional customer service within the commercial construction and Division 8 industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator with knowledge of hollow metal doors and frames to join our team. Position Summary The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing quotations, and coordinating with customers, distributors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure accurate pricing and project execution. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the commercial door and frame industry who understands Division 8 specifications and can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, hardware schedules, and Division 8 specifications Prepare accurate quotations for hollow metal doors, frames, and related products Interpret project requirements and identify scope details Coordinate with sales, production, and purchasing departments Communicate directly with contractors, distributors, and customers Track project revisions, addendums, and bid deadlines Assist with order entry and project handoff to production Maintain pricing accuracy and product knowledge Qualifications Previous experience estimating hollow metal doors and frames required Knowledge of Division 8 construction products and specifications Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with estimating software is considered an asset Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Stable, growing manufacturing company Opportunity for advancement Supportive team environment Full-time permanent position
