Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems on residential & some commercial construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure project budgets are precise, competitive, and aligned with client expectations. Duties Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately interpret HVAC system requirements and estimate material quantities. Utilize estimating software to develop detailed cost proposals. Prepare comprehensive estimates that include labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms. Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope of work, pricing strategies, and project timelines while managing expectations professionally Qualifications Experience as a residential design estimator within the HVAC or broader construction industry. Minimum of 5 years' experience. Proficiency with estimating software used for cost estimation in residential and commercial construction projects. Ability to read blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans related to HVAC systems. Capable of producing Energy Calculations and Load Calculations using Elite. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and documentation purposes. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Company Benefits
