We're looking for an experienced estimator to join our team in Thonotosassa, FL. This is a direct-hire position-not temporary work-offering competitive pay of $43.27-$50.00 per hour, depending on experience. What You'll Be Estimating You'll play a key role in pricing and winning commercial civil site development projects, including: Water, sewer, and storm drainage systems Commercial underground utility projects Civil site development and sitework Material, labor, subcontractor, and equipment costs Project scopes, budgets, and bid packages Your Day-to-Day Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform detailed quantity takeoffs Build accurate and competitive project estimates Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Analyze site conditions, project risks, and constructability Work closely with project managers and operations teams Track bid results and help improve estimating strategies What You Bring to the Team 5+ years of civil site development estimating experience Strong experience with commercial underground utilities Ability to confidently read civil drawings and specifications Experience with Agtek, HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar estimating/takeoff software Solid understanding of sitework construction Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
