Commercial Construction Estimator

• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction documents, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

• Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work
• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Utilize software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, SAGE and other tools for estimating purposes
• Collaborate with the construction management team to develop project budgets
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and analyze project progress to ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Participate in site visits to assess project requirements

• Experience:

• Proven experience in construction estimating 5 years minumum with Public And Private Sector.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and processes
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as SAGE and Bluebeam
• Strong ability to negotiate contracts and prices effectively
• Knowledge of cost control principles in construction projects
