Your construction knowledge, precision in estimating and negotiation skills will help us deliver the homes that have made us one of South Florida's most in-demand homebuilders. Responsibilities Develop detailed construction estimates for luxury residential projects Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to accurately determine costs related to materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop/review scope of work, clarify project requirements, and negotiate pricing to achieve competitive bids. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights and verify project conditions impacting estimates. Review contracts and scope documents to ensure alignment with project goals and budget constraints. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and delivery timelines. Support project management teams by providing accurate forecasts and assisting in contract negotiations. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating within luxury residential or high-end custom home building environments. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, costs, and scheduling practices specific to residential projects. Hands-on construction site experience is highly preferred to understand real-world project challenges. Demonstrated ability in negotiation with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure favorable terms. Familiarity with construction contracts, project management principles, and cost control strategies. Excellent communication skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all estimates.
