Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Estimator and play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in construction estimating while working closely with experienced professionals. You will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and supporting bid submissions to ensure competitive and profitable project proposals. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior estimators to gather and analyze project data, including drawings, specifications, and site conditions. Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates. Support the review of subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Contribute to the development of project budgets by analyzing costs related to labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Help track project costs throughout the bidding process and during construction to support effective cost control. Maintain organized records of all estimating documents. Skills Understanding of construction estimating principles, including cost control, pricing strategies, and budgeting. Knowledge of construction site operations and experience in construction management practices. Familiarity with estimating software, spreadsheets, and construction plans. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Education BS in Construction Management, business or related field.
