" We are looking to add a Commercial Roofing Estimator to our team! This job focuses on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. The person in this role needs to be precise, consistent, and patient, with a willingness to prioritize one task at a time. Work in this role tends to be stable, based on existing people relationships and well-defined processes. Someone in this role will build job knowledge and competency through structured, step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. They are expected to communicate with others based on the expertise and procedures they develop within the role. Duties Work with sales staff in reviewing opportunities. (Roof plans, measurements, cores, etc.) Work with sales staff to determine the best roofing system to make RPI the most competitive choice Support RPI sales staff by completing all commercial and service "project" estimates, change orders, prices, proposals Complete job take-off based off roof plans and photos provided by sales team Develop relationships with distributors and manufacturers for pricing and scope development Solicits and analyzes subcontractor and vendor pricing input when required Jobsite roof analysis Coring of Existing Roof Systems Existing Roofing Measurement Detailed Roof Plan in Job File Set-up of jobs - checklist on next page Hand off meeting to Operations Attend pre-construction meeting as necessary Track job cost with Operations Team on commercial projects Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating within the roofing or broader construction industry. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes. Experience with Edge Estimating software or similar estimating software is highly preferred. Proficient in all computer software programs used in estimating and construction (Microsoft Teams/Word/Excel/Outlook, Edge, Bluebeam, CompanyCam, SalesForce) Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Familiarity with construction contracts, project management principles, and cost control strategies. Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into field operations and safety protocols. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.

Pay:

$60,638.03 - $73,026.45 per year
