About Our Client Client is a top national construction general contractor with a construction focus in light industrial, education, and healthcare. Job Description Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to determine project needs and budget constraints. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing on materials and services. Prepare and present cost breakdowns and estimates to stakeholders. Monitor project costs and provide updates on budget variances as needed. Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project data. Support decision-making by providing financial analysis and recommendations. Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and construction methods to ensure accurate estimating practices. The Successful Applicant A successful Construction Estimator should have: Experience with construction estimating, project planning, and cost analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and project management. A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in estimates and budgets.
