Full Job Description Position Title:
Project Equipment Estimator We are 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This is a retirement benefit for our employees that is wholly paid for by the company in addition to 401(k) options for employee contributions. Manage collective accounts Provide a high level of customer service in a timely, effective and efficient manner Keep up to date information on Jobs List Continuously stay updated on current competitive market pricing and report/share with Outsides Sales and Management Develop technical depth and understanding of company products and application knowledge Manage the order entry process and coordinate deliveries with the customers including returns and warranties Act as first responder for customer call-in requests regarding products or services Upon receipt of an approved submittal the Inside Salesperson is responsible for seeing the product is ordered on time and accurately. It is essential that this position provide good communication between the customer, sales engineer and the factories in order to accomplish a seamless product delivery Process and enter sales orders and quotations into CRM (Netsuite) Utilize industry databases to research and find upcoming jobs to bid Do preliminary take off on upcoming jobs Maintain project schedules in quote/project management system ensuring timely project management including Submittals, Orders Entered, Customer Acknowledgements, Delivery Schedules, IOMs, Project Close Out Develop "Installation Operations and Maintenance Manuals" to provide the customer with written documentation on how to operate and maintain equipment purchased Work closely with manufacturers to resolve issues Coordinate scheduling of equipment start-up and resolution of warranty-related issues Remain knowledgeable on products and technologies which HTS represents Other tasks as assigned Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required 2 or more year's experience in the HVAC industry preferred but not required Minimum 2 year's experience in similar role (Inside Sales/Account Executive/Product Management) Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills Experience with Marketing / Project Management Skills and Qualifications A strong sales presence and ability to develop lasting relationships Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable Strong time management skills Sincere desire to help others Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Must possess a personal need to consistently produce accurate and thorough results Superior written and oral communication skills Proven problem solving, leadership and listening skills Product and vendor knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn it) Strong technical aptitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple task Strong administrative and organizational skills Working Conditions Normal office environment Moderate lifting may be required to move equipment, files and supplies Minimal travel may be required at times Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to ensure task are completed Occasional work in outside weather conditions
