We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Specialist to join our growing residential single-family electrical construction team. This position supports pre-construction operations by preparing accurate estimates, reviewing plans, coordinating material pricing, and assisting with bid preparation. Responsibilities Prepare residential electrical estimates and material takeoffs Review blueprints, specifications, and builder requirements Coordinate pricing with vendors and suppliers Assist with budgeting and pre-construction planning Maintain accurate bid and estimating records Communicate with project managers, field staff, builders, and suppliers Identify scope gaps and project risks Attend occasional builder meetings and job site visits Follow company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in residential electrical estimating or construction Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings Strong math, organizational, and communication skills Proficient with computers and estimating software Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Must pass pre-employment background screening Work Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of office and occasional field/site work Prolonged computer use and desk work Ability to walk active construction sites as needed Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
