Description Reports to:
Production Manager Position Summary:
Produce job files as quickly and accurately as possible after a job has been awarded to PDM. Adhere to

Performance Responsibilities and Areas of Accountability:
Support Steel Sales Participate in bid reviews/peer reviews Support bid calendar Provide VE assistance to clients Conceptual price, schedule, and scope development Support steel estimating processes and resources Subcontractor & supplier communications Perform steel estimating/take-offs Prepare proposals Support metals long range schedule Support project management/manage small projects Change Oder pricing support & estimate updates Lead project hand-offs Maintain bid results
Requirements Knowledge & Skills:
The ability to read and understand blueprints. Computer competency in Word, Excel and other basic programs. AutoCad experience is a plus, but not required.
Education:
Associate Degree or better.
Experience:
Two years in estimating for the construction industry.
