Commercial Construction Estimator

Commercial Construction Estimator Competitive Pay DOE Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Aventure Staffing is partnering with a premier construction leader in the Northwest Iowa region. We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate cost analysis and strategic bidding for diverse builds. Responsibilities:

Build detailed labor and material estimates. Quantify materials and labor to ensure budget accuracy. Research specifications to help craft winning bid strategies. Review and interpret project plans and technical specs. Identify project requirements and potential "red flag" site conditions. Disseminate vital information to vendors and partners. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits. Perform any special assignments, additional projects, or other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position as required by the executive team.

Requirements:

2-4-year college degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, and/or equivalent work experience Strong planning, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong organizations skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to travel to various construction sites Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources
