Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating new commercial painting projects with some project management required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial painting, with a focus on estimating and project management.
Duties:
- Oversee painting projects from estimation to completion, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the best painting methods and materials.
- Prepare and submit detailed project estimates, using construction estimating software.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute painting projects, ensuring compliance with construction management principles.
- Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage the painting process, including labor costs, material pricing, and labor negotiations.
- Ensure that all painting work is completed in accordance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Painting Estimator.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and project management principles.
- Ability to use construction estimating software, such as, HeavyBid, Sage, Stack, Smart Bid, Procore, Bluebeam, etc...
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $65,000.
