Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Reinforcing Estimator/Project Manager to join our construction team. This role is pivotal in managing reinforcement projects from inception to completion, including accurate estimating, project coordination, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction estimating, project management, and relevant software tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on complex construction sites. Responsibilities Develop detailed project estimates utilizing construction estimating software such as Soule and Bluebeam. Prepare comprehensive proposals and bids for reinforcement projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope, schedules, and resource requirements. Manage project timelines using typical construction management software to ensure timely completion. Oversee the planning and scheduling of reinforcement activities on-site, maintaining strict adherence to project schematics and blueprints. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately assess project needs. Monitor project progress, track costs, and manage change orders to stay within budget constraints. Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures on all reinforcement projects. Collaborate with customers, engineers and site managers to coordinate construction activities effectively. Prepare progress reports and communicate updates regularly to ownership. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or related roles within the heavy civil or reinforced concrete construction sectors. Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, and Bluebeam, Soule. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts management, and project scheduling techniques. Prior experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of site safety protocols and field operations. Familiarity with construction site coordination, contract administration, and time management strategies is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
