We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Traveling Construction Estimator to join our team! Pay Range:
$80,000•$95,000 annually Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this positionBenefits:

Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work and cost estimates for infrastructure projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and understand project goals and timelines. Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for construction projects. Conduct research and solicit bids from vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information for materials and services. Evaluate and compare cost proposals from multiple sources, considering quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Develop detailed project cost breakdowns, including itemized lists, quantities, unit prices, and labor hours. Identify and factor in potential risks, contingencies, and changes that may impact project costs and timelines. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and services. Monitor and track actual project costs against estimated costs, identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments. Maintain a database of historical cost data, benchmarks, and industry trends to improve future estimating accuracy. Participate in project meetings and provide accurate cost-related information and recommendations to project teams.Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, cabling, wireless networks, and related equipment. Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations and interpret data accurately. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using spreadsheets and estimating software to create accurate and detailed cost estimates. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and present cost information clearly. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
