Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to oversee multiple projects for one of our key clients. This role is responsible for end-to-end job costing with a focus on achieving and maintaining desired profitability levels. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position requires frequent coordination with internal teams, vendors, and the customer to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor multiple jobs to ensure timely and profitable completion. Perform detailed job costing and analyze profitability metrics. Collaborate with project managers. Working with subcontractors. Maintain strong, professional communication with clients. Provide regular updates and reports on job progress and financial performance. Oversee and manage multiple construction jobs/building maintenance jobs with a focus on cost tracking and profitability. Perform job costing to ensure projects remain within budget. Support the implementation and ongoing use of accounting systems and software. Apply construction/building maintenance knowledge to support project-specific needs. Multi-tasking Keeping projects moving through communication with subs, project managers and clients. Follow through on all aspects of project accounting and coordination from initiation through completion. Writing government contracts Convert conventional bidding into government programs (Gordian)
Qualifications:
Proficient in mathematics and financial analysis Strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of estimating software (insurance adjustment software preferred) Experience with job costing, preferably in a construction or project-based environment Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft products Previous experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred
