Omega III LLC is a Midwest-based specialty contractor with over $900M in completed work and 100+ years of combined management experience. We self-perform demolition, environmental remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, asset recovery, and excavation nationwide. We run a union workforce, own our heavy equipment fleet, and we're growing—and we're looking for sharp estimating talent to grow with us.THE ROLE
As a Junior Estimator, you'll work directly alongside our senior estimating team on competitive bids for mid-to-large-scale demolition, environmental, and civil construction projects. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one—you'll be reading plans, building takeoffs, and helping drive bids across the finish line.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for structure square footage, concrete volume, asphalt, steel, and debris Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Populate and maintain Excel-based bid spreadsheets with takeoff quantities Coordinate internal bid reviews and support senior estimators through the full bid cycle Solicit and secure subcontractor and supplier quotes Track bid deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Research and identify new project opportunities in target marketsQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field 2-5 years of experience in construction or demolition estimating preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Bluebeam experience a plus Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy You'll thrive here if you: Can juggle multiple bids and deadlines without dropping the ball Communicate clearly in writing and in person with project teams, subs, and clients Are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly Have a working knowledge of the construction bidding process Want to grow within a stable, well-capitalized specialty contractorCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary:
$65,000- 85,000 based on experience
