Steel Fabrication Estimator Custom Fab Co. This would include steel frames, conveyors, handrails, tanks, and structural steel. Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Estimator Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in steel fabrication estimating
  • Minimum of 3 years' AutoCAD experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Good communication skills Job Duties
  • Understand the project requirements
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Prepare estimates in detail
  • Insure timely completion of estimates
  • Maintain Document and Data control requirements
  • Maintain Quote files that include revision levels
  • Assist shop floor with Set up and Troubleshooting
  • Machine verification and process capability
  • Assist Process Engineer
  • Build relationships with key vendors
  • Develop new customers.
