SUMMARY OF POSITION

Senior Lead Estimators will be responsible for the production of high-quality bid proposals for all customers in the company. Have a firm understanding of the different regional or work group strategies including Gap Revenue needs. Will communicate with the Directors of that region which RFP's they are supporting. Will manage assigned estimates. Will estimate and oversee the preparation of proposals. Give weekly reports during the department meetings. Will assist to create, standardize, and implement WBS and Item Database Resources in B2W. Oversee that the estimating processes is being adhered to for all estimates in the company including those done by others (PM's, APM's, etc.). Will provide support to other regions to achieve departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct cost challenges along with quality and accuracy checks to estimates in his region. Understand the intricacies of the estimating software. Responsible for post project analysis of their and their teams estimates (Estimates vs. Actuals) Maintain standardized biding practices

•checks for data consistency and integrity

•provides feedback to Director of Operations for resolution of data issues Assist to create, standardize, and implement WBS and Item Database Resources in B2W Assist in the development and training of assigned estimators

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering, Business, or Technical degree and or Typically 4

•7 years of related experience. Experience in Electrical Transmission/Distribution Overhead or Distribution Underground estimating. Progressively responsible experience in the utility/contractor services market. Must possess excellent leadership qualities along with effective oral and written communication skills Must be able to effectively manage shared resources, to achieve departmental goals Must be able to effectively oversee multimillion-dollar contract bid proposals Must be a team player able to work within a cross functional environment Able to work remote INTREN is an equal opportunity employer.
