Job Description

$80,000 to $100,000/Annually, Plus Benefits Job Summary We are seeking a general construction Estimator to join our team. This role's primary function is producing accurate, timely installation and material supply quotes to support our outside Sales Representatives. This position reports to the Chief Estimator. Duties & Functions Communicate with customers and outside Sales Representatives to understand project needs and scope. Review and complete thorough takeoffs of construction project documents, including specifications, drawings, and bid requirements. Perform takeoffs using computer-assisted design software (such as Bluebeam and Procore Estimating). Develop estimates including installation, material supply, equipment, and subcontractor quotes. Prepare formal bid proposals, budgets, and cost analysis Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and site visits Maintain daily CRM updates, tracking quote and project status. Tracks and adjusts quantities as needed. Assists with resolving discrepancies. Maintains file of working project documents for back-up to estimating figures. Qualifications & Standards 2+ years of experience in construction estimating required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Experience in creating takeoffs via computer-assisted design software. Ability to read construction documents Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines. Highly organized, with the ability to see projects through to close. Strong communication skills, including presentation skills.
