Job Description

Hinderliter Construction, Inc. is looking for a Head Estimator to provide full-time estimating to the general contracting and petroleum construction departments. This role also involves the creation and management of SOPs, and research and development. This is a deadline-driven role that requires strong communication, dependable follow-through, and the ability to work independently while staying connected to the team. We are looking for a practiced estimator with 5+ years of experience. Duties/Responsibilities Estimating large and medium construction projects Blueprint take-offs Bid solicitation Data and spreadsheet entry Scheduling Proposal and contract writing Develop and manage standard operating procedures Update and generate estimating and contract-related templates with efficient and consistent format Provide research and organization to our information and digital tool library Develop and maintain standards Organize and maintain project files and folders Communicate with customers and vendors Conduct research to assist with projects or inquiries Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout projects Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices Minimal travel to client sites, as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional communication skills Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Google Drive Experience with AutoCAD is a plus Basic understanding of office equipment Ability to work independently and reliably Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with different personalities Competitive salary based on experience
