Full Job Description Overview:
Hays and Sons is a full-service disaster restoration and construction company with over 40 years' experience providing service to our customers during their time of need! We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Fort Wayne team. In addition to creating accurate estimates, you will also be responsible for sales and will be expected to maintain a reasonable closing ratio. This role includes a sales-based incentive in addition to base salary.
Responsibilities:
Development of accurate material take offs from prints and specs and field inspections Utilize Xactimate to develop pricing to ensure optimal margins through material breakouts and other methods of design to optimize profit Maintain contact and relationships with adjusters and customers by monitoring key indicators and reports as well as frequent contact with all parties Perform thorough inspection within two business days after receiving lead Write estimate within two business days after performing inspection Assist project managers in the development of budgets, change orders and other items pertinent to assigned jobs Participate in on-call rotation Follow up with leads to increase sales
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
