This is a key role within the company's estimating department, offering the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial projects across healthcare, education, municipal, commercial, concrete and other sectors. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of estimating experience , with a strong background in preparing detailed, accurate cost estimates and proposals for complex commercial builds. This is a highly collaborative position that requires excellent analytical skills, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to work closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project planning and delivery.   • Construction Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction estimating experience on construction projects Must be able to manage multiple projects, create and maintain project budgets, prioritize effectively, and recognize and address work related issues as they occur.

Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints. Must have strong computer skills, including the ability to use estimating software, bid management, online plan rooms, and database applications. Must have conceptual estimating experience. Must have experience in pricing labor for concrete, carpentry, casework, doors, demo, and specialties. Preferred experience with preconstruction estimating and scheduling software. Senior Estimator

  • Construction Responsibilities Ensures all data placed in the historical estimating database is accurate.
  • Prepare project clarifications and bid assumptions for submission to owners.

Prepares and presents budget presentations to owners and architects. Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support the company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations. Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project. Prepare estimates and cost estimates. Create labor estimates when necessary. Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors. Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
