Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Fabrication Estimator / Detailer position include: 3-5 years of experience reading drawings, blueprints, specs, and scopes of work; steel fabrication experience is preferred but not required Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; SolidWorks experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand fabrication requirements and material needs Perform material takeoffs from customer drawings and specifications to support accurate pricing Work with leadership to estimate labor requirements using established company standards Prepare details and shop fabrication drawings as needed for custom steel fabrication projects Collaborate with purchasing, the VP of Operations, and other internal team members throughout the estimating and order process Ability to work in-office in Kokomo, IN, with relocation considered on a case-by-case basis

Salary :

$90,000•$95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
