The Entry-Level Estimator supports the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for sitework projects by assisting with takeoffs, subcontractor outreach, and quantity measurements. This role is designed for individuals eager to develop estimating skills, gain familiarity with construction plans, and learn industry-standard software and processes. Working closely with senior estimators and project teams, the Entry-Level Estimator will participate in site visits, review drawings, and contribute to bid preparation while receiving on-the-job training and mentorship. This position offers a clear pathway for career growth within the estimating team and the broader construction operations.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing quantity takeoff's with basic scopes, solicit subs, build estimates assist in handoff of award, etc.
- Review and complete understanding of contract specifications and drawings
- Conducting site visits and performing field measurements
- Interprets plans and specifications with support
- Consistently perform site visits and develop a greater understanding for field operations
Required Skills & Abilities:
- HCSS, Agtek and Viewpoint knowledge a plus
- Ability to work well in a close team setting
- Flexible schedule availability
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- Coursework in estimating or AutoCAD preferred
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods both at a desk and while driving or riding in a vehicle.
- Regularly required to tour active construction sites and must comply with Curran's safety policies, including wearing and maintaining required PPE (e.g. hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, hearing protection, safety-toe footwear).
- Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust) is common.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of materials, equipment, or presentation items.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a personal or company vehicle to and from job sites, meetings, and for other business purposes.

Pay:
$60,000.00- $78,000.
