) U.S. Public Adjusters is seeking a skilled Insurance Estimator / Supplements Specialist responsible for preparing detailed property damage estimates and negotiating claim scope and pricing directly with insurance carriers. This role plays a critical part in maximizing claim outcomes for our clients by identifying overlooked damages, writing accurate estimates, and professionally supporting negotiations throughout the claims process. The ideal candidate understands insurance carrier estimating practices, is confident communicating with adjusters, and can effectively justify scope and pricing using industry standards. Key Responsibilities Write detailed repair estimates using Xactimate Review carrier estimates and identify missing scope or underpaid items Prepare and submit supplements with proper documentation and justification Negotiate scope, pricing, and repairs with insurance adjusters Analyze policies and coverage considerations when preparing estimates Review inspection photos, reports, and field documentation Communicate with field inspectors and project teams to verify damages Track supplement status and follow up with carriers for resolution Maintain organized claim files and documentation What Success Looks Like Accurate, defensible estimates submitted in a timely manner Successful negotiation of supplements and revised claim approvals Strong professional relationships with carrier adjusters Increased claim recovery for clients through proper documentation Required Qualifications Experience writing estimates in Xactimate Understanding of residential construction and repair methods Experience negotiating with insurance adjusters Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously Preferred Experience Public adjusting, restoration, roofing, or insurance carrier background Prior supplementing or desk adjusting experience Knowledge of building codes and line-item justification Experience with wind, hail, water, and fire claims Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonuses tied to claim outcomes Stable, long-term position within a growing company Opportunity for advancement as company expands Collaborative, team-focused environment About U.S. Public Adjusters U.S. Public Adjusters represents property owners during insurance claims and advocates to ensure fair settlements following wind, hail, water, fire, and other property losses. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
