317-254-2231 HR.Midwest@SupremeX.com The Estimator is responsible to provide costs to the sales group primarily for packaging opportunities. This position partners with sales and operations to ensure timely, accurate production estimates based on customers' specifications. Relying on creativity and moving with a sense of urgency, the Estimator is a key member of the sales support organization who will provide solutions to help sales win news business Key Responsibilities Ensures timely and accurate estimates by reviewing quote specifications with Senior estimator and production leads. Develop an understanding of SupremeX's Equipment capabilities and machine specifications to assign project to appropriate machinery. Determines most cost effective and competitive manufacturing options by comparing pricing associated with all viable production methods Calculates costs of all materials required in the production process Facilitates pricing from vendors and other outside sources for raw materials and other key inputs Works with the operations teams to ensure quote accuracy on new and unique opportunities Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned Qualifications and Experience Experience in the folding carton sector (5 or more years preferred) Must have strong organizational skills Thrives in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Excellent interpersonal skills Strong business communication skills Strong Excel skills including, but not limited to, building complex workbooks, pivot tables, etc. Ability to work independently, multi-task, follow-up and meet tight timelines Accuracy with managing data and attention to detail Candidate Profile or Skills and Competencies Self-motivated, enthusiastic, high energy, team player with a focus on meeting organizational goals MS Office Skills a must Work conditions Office setting, 8 hours of computer/desk work Climate-controlled Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Health Benefits to support your well-being Retirement Plan - A 401(k) plan with a company match to help you plan for the future.
