Project Manager / Estimator

Key Responsibilities Project Management:

Manage multiple projects from award through completion Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Track job costs, quantities, and production Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

Estimating:

Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for public and private projects Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Prepare and submit competitive bids Assist in bid strategy and risk evaluation

General Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients, engineers, and inspectors Assist with problem-solving and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle Support company operations and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management (KDOT experience is a plus) Experience in heavy civil, concrete, or bridge construction preferred Strong understanding of construction plans, specs, and processes Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general construction software Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail What We're Looking For Someone who wants to grow with the company long-term Takes ownership and responsibility for their work Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Team-oriented but able to work independently Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Annual bonus program Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan options

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
