Cassidy, Inc., a leader in deep foundation and heavy civil construction, is seeking a qualified Estimator with 3-5 years of experience in foundation or heavy civil projects estimating. This full-time position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven background in accurately developing estimates for complex construction projects. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality work. What You'll Do Review and summarize project requirements for bidding Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for deep pile foundation and heavy civil projects. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to understand project scope and logistics. Participate in project planning meetings and pre-bid conferences. Attend pre-bid job walk meetings and conduct site investigations. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes. Develop quantity takeoffs and material pricing based on project scope. Develop resource-driven project schedules in alignment with client requests. Develop detailed and advanced estimates geared towards the project requirements. Maintain cost databases and historical data for future references. Assist with project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments. Communicate complex estimate details clearly and effectively. What You'll Bring 3-5 years of experience estimating deep pile foundations, heavy civil, or foundation-related construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. General knowledge and understanding of construction jobsite processes and procedures. Experience with construction management software (Procore or similar) Experience with Microsoft-related applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) Proficiency in scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or similar) Proficiency in estimating software (such as HCSS Heavy Bid, or similar). Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies. Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety standards and construction regulations. Pass drug and alcohol screening (pre-employment & random).
