The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project management, with the ability to effectively negotiate contracts, control costs, and ensure project timelines are met. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can lead install crews to meet deadlines and terms of commercial contracts. Minimum 1-3 years experience as an estimator within the construction industry. Salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Ability to pursue leads and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to organize, read plans and specifications to determine labor, material, requirements and deadlines for proposals. Develop and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct thorough construction estimating to prepare accurate project budgets. Facilitate professional communication and work closely with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers and vendors to ensure bids are competitive and profitable. Arrange and travel to site meetings to prepare and present proposals. Oversee cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints. Coordinate with construction site crews to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management on status and potential issues. Communicate effectively and professionally with foremen and crews to discuss progress and timelines, resolve challenges, and strategize next steps to ensure work is completed efficiently. Skills Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and management practices. Proficiency in construction estimating techniques. Minimum 1-3 years experience in project management within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction management principles and practices. Ability to effectively negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors. Expertise in cost control methods to manage project budgets effectively. Proficiency with platforms, such as Procore, is a plus. Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate crews towards common goals.
