Job Description

Seeking a customer-facing paving estimator to call customers, measure jobs, prepare and send estimates, and manage follow-ups to win paving and sitework contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Call prospective and existing customers to qualify leads, set appointments, and answer basic scope/pricing questions. Visit job sites to take accurate measurements, photos, and notes; verify access, grades, and existing conditions. Prepare timely, clear estimates and proposals (materials, labor, equipment, permits, hauling, margins). Send estimates to clients and track delivery/receipt. Perform follow-ups by phone and email to answer questions, negotiate scope, and close work.
Qualifications:
1-5 years sales/estimating experience in paving, asphalt, concrete, or sitework preferred. Comfortable making outbound sales calls and doing field measurements. Proficient with smartphone/tablet for photos and basic measuring apps; familiarity with takeoff software a plus. Strong communication, organization, and follow-up discipline. Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites.
