As our Design-Build Remodeling division continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role in our continued success. This is more than an estimating position. You'll partner closely with our award-winning design team, develop accurate project budgets, guide homeowners through the proposal process, and help ensure every project begins with a strong foundation for success. If you're an experienced residential remodeling professional who enjoys collaborating with clients, designers, and construction teams while delivering exceptional project outcomes, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do:
- Prepare detailed labor and material estimates for residential remodeling projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate project pricing.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions.
- Partner with designers to ensure project scope and estimates align with client expectations.
- Present proposals to homeowners and answer questions throughout the sales process.
- Support project execution by serving as a technical resource for field teams.
- Monitor project budgets and help manage changes throughout construction.
- Contribute ideas that improve estimating accuracy, efficiency, and overall project success.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
- 5+ years preparing estimates for residential remodeling projects.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, framing, and structural plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience using estimating or project management software such as Buildertrend is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Why Join Norfolk?
