Responsibilities Ability to perform a complete civil takeoff from the bid documents systematically breaking down each component to establish the total direct cost of a project Extraction of data from the bid documents that would affect the productions, quantities & pricing of items relevant to the bid Knowledge of earth moving, excavating, grading, & utility installation and crew productions Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of heavy equipment used within the civil/sitework industry to accurately project equipment utilization Establishing and maintaining customer & vendor relationships Perform other duties related to estimating needs Requirements Civil Engineering degree preferred, not required Minimum 2 years Estimating experience Project management experience will be considered on a case by case basis Experience performing detailed water, sewer & drain takeoffs Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and bids Ability to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines Proficiency utilizing Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project a plus Experience with estimating software such as
