Residential Construction Junior Estimator The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing cost estimates for custom and luxury home residential construction projects, working closely with senior estimators and project managers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the construction industry and develop skills in cost analysis, bid preparation, and project budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for custom homes, renovations, and residential developments
• Review plans, specifications, and proposals to understand project scope
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
• Help prepare bid proposals and support documentation
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical records
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
• Support the senior estimator in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
• 1-3 years of experience in residential construction or estimating preferred
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and materials
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., BuilderTrend, ProEst, Sage Estimating)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry
