Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Starkey Construction has an immediate Full Time opening for a Project Estimator. Our Company has specialized in Drywall, Metal Stud Framing, Acoustical Ceilings and other general trades of over 40 years. We are family owned and operated with a focus on building and maintaining relationships along with achieving long-term goals for our employees and our clients. Candidate job functions are site visits and pre-bid meetings, timely and accurate takeoffs for multiple jobs, analyze drawings, specifications, preparing proposals, other documentation. Be familiar with commercial drywall industry, materials and practice. Qualities of a candidate are ability to multitask, dependability, accuracy on takeoffs and job costs, communication, time management and working with high level personnel. Must have team mentality and adapt to and overcome high pressure situations and be willing and eager to learn and be coachable.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Candidate preferred minimum of 2 years experience in the commercial construction industry, preferably as Commercial Drywall Estimator / Project Manager. Ability to work with On Center - On Screen take off and Quick Bid. •Will Train right applicant.
