Overview Join our dynamic team as a Siding Estimator and become a vital contributor to our construction projects! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing siding needs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality siding solutions that meet client expectations while maintaining cost efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction estimating skills in a fast-paced environment where every detail counts. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of siding work and material requirements. Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare precise cost estimates and proposals. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing on materials and labor. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop accurate project budgets and schedules. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify measurements, and gather additional information for accurate estimating. Prepare detailed bid packages, including pricing, scope of work, and contract documentation. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets and identify potential cost control opportunities. Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual terms related to siding projects. Support project management by providing timely updates on estimate status, potential risks, and opportunities for value engineering. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within siding or exterior wall systems preferred. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes. Proficiency with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction site operations, safety standards, and cost control strategies. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms. Hands-on experience in construction or related fields providing practical understanding of installation processes and site conditions is a plus. Excellent communication skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate estimates and successful project delivery.
