Duties Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive estimates that reflect all scope requirements. Utilize estimating software Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing and negotiate favorable terms. Analyze project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns. Prepare detailed bid packages, including labor, materials, equipment costs, and overheads. Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure cost control and identify opportunities for savings or adjustments. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management processes. Solid knowledge of construction estimating principles, cost control techniques, and pricing strategies. Familiarity with construction site operations, contracts, and project management methodologies. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors. Construction site experience is a plus, providing practical insights into project realities that influence estimates. $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
