Job Description:

Elite Edge Partners is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Manager of Sales & Estimating to lead business development, customer acquisition, and project estimating across both residential and commercial markets. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance carriers, adjusters, property managers, and referral partners while developing accurate and profitable estimates for restoration and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in insurance restoration, remodeling, construction estimating, and sales. This role combines hands-on estimating and project sales responsibilities with strategic growth initiatives designed to expand our market presence and revenue. Opportunities may originate from insurance claims, direct retail customers, commercial clients, property management firms, government entities, and referral networks. As the company continues to grow, this position will evolve into a broader leadership role focused on driving revenue, expanding market share, and developing additional sales and estimating personnel. Key Responsibilitie sSales & Business Developmen tGenerate new revenue opportunities across residential and commercial restoration, remodeling, roofing, siding, and construction services .Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, carriers, third-party administrators, property managers, real estate professionals, commercial clients, and referral partners .Identify, pursue, and close projects originating from both insurance claims and direct retail opportunities .Conduct customer consultations, site visits, and project walkthroughs .Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and revenue growth .Represent MRI at networking events, industry associations, community functions, and business development meetings .Estimating & Proposal Developmen tPrepare accurate and profitable estimates for restoration, remodeling, and construction projects .Perform material and labor takeoffs for residential and commercial projects .Utilize Xactimate, Symbility, and other estimating platforms to develop and validate project pricing .Analyze insurance carrier estimates and negotiate scope and pricing when necessary .Prepare professional proposals, scopes of work, and customer presentations .Ensure estimates meet company margin and profitability objectives .Assist with claim documentation, adjuster meetings, supplements, and project approvals .Customer Relationship Managemen tServe as the primary customer contact throughout the sales and estimating process .Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships .Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth project transitions from sale to execution .Resolve customer concerns and provide timely communication throughout the project lifecycle .Strategic Growth & Performanc eTrack sales activity, conversion rates, estimate volume, project profitability, and revenue performance .Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for expansion .Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning .Develop recommendations to improve estimating accuracy, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency .Support recruiting, training, and development of future sales and estimating personnel as the company grows . Required Qualificatio ns2+ years of experience in construction sales, estimating, insurance restoration, remodeling, or general contractin g.

Proven success generating and closing residential and commercial construction project s.

Strong understanding of insurance restoration processes and property claim s.

Proficiency with Xactimate, Symbility, and construction estimating softwar e.

Experience developing detailed material and labor estimate s.

Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project costin g.

Ability to read plans, specifications, and scopes of wor k.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skill s.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Maryland and Washington, DC regio n. Preferred Qualificati onsExisting relationships with insurance adjusters, carriers, third-party administrators, property managers, or commercial clien ts.

Experience with roofing, exterior restoration, water mitigation, fire restoration, and residential remodeli ng.

Knowledge of local permitting requirements and construction regulatio ns.

Previous leadership or team management experien ce.
