$19.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience Position Summary Anchor Construction is seeking a motivated Estimating Intern to support our Estimating Department with civil construction projects throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in construction management, engineering, or estimating. Key Responsibilities Assist with quantity takeoffs for civil construction projects, including utilities, concrete, earthwork, drainage, and roadway work. Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents. Request and track subcontractor and vendor pricing. Enter quantities and pricing data into estimating software and spreadsheets. Maintain organized estimating files and cost databases. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and internal bid reviews as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; pursuing or completed degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
