Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of residential and commercial construction processes and the ability to accurately estimate the cost of those projects. Position responsibilities include:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates Work closely with the sales teams throughout Hancock Lumber to get project take-offs and estimates done in a timely manner. Significant knowledge of the residential and commercial construction processKnowledge of computer software and drafting/design programs.

The ability to visualize projects from 2d drawings and to do 3d sketches.

Able to communicate well with customers and fellow employees.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
