• Metal Framing, Drywall & ACT Opportunity for an Estimator with around five years of experience in client's specific area of Drywall, Metal Stud Framing & ACT for mostly commercial and some residential projects.

Be a part of a small company and take on a new position due to growth. Be the first estimator and have a team of people to support you. Once trained, you will working closely with the owner and Project Managers to price and win new work. Work alongside people with years of experience and knowledge to complete projects. Company has a great reputation, solid subcontractor teams and a steady stream of new business. Hoping to find someone with all of the experience needed, drywall and estimating.

Base salary:

$90-100K. You must have hands-on estimating experience in metal framing, ACT, and drywall. I don't want to put years on it, but you should be well-versed in all aspects of this area and show successful completion of estimates/bids for similar commercial projects. They said five years or more. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to produce accurate quantity takeoffs, and prepare competitive cost estimates and bids. Experience with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar), plus solid Excel skills. Solid understanding of material pricing, labor productivity rates, and current market conditions for these trades. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, negotiate costs, and maintain relationships with the company's subcontractor base. Input purchase orders, assist with project budgets, and help schedule jobs in coordination with the PM team. Track bid results and win rates to refine future estimates. Ability and interest to visit project sites in and around the surrounding area of Ann Arbor, South Lansing, and West Detroit areas as needed. You will need to complete a background check with references, drug screen, and a clean driving record. Be willing and able to work for any company in the US for any amount of time without sponsorship.

Interview process:
