Job Description
This position works with several parts of our company from clients and subcontractors to suppliers and vendors. Estimating plan work for J&S Siding. This position will allow you to help customers while maintaining cost and quality at every step. Responsibilities/Duties Represent our company products and services being able to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our clients. Solicitation of bids / Quotes through Builder-Trend Estimate material quantities for J&S Siding Projects Responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving project takeoffs in Plan-Swift estimating software. Responsible for modification of existing plans for estimating. Responsible for being technical support regarding issues with Plan-Swift. This also includes non-estimating issues as needed. Any other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications Required Ability and desire to work collaboratively and ensure successful project execution High level of experience with computer operating systems. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills for collaborating effectively with others Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines Home and Construction Knowledge Construction Estimation Experience 2 years of experience Estimating in a construction environment preferred Strong Attention to Detail
