Construction Estimator

Overview Robert Clancy Contracting is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Estimator to join our team. This role is central to our project acquisition process, focusing on earthwork and site utility projects. You will be responsible for transforming complex civil engineering plans into accurate, competitive, and profitable bid proposals.

Duties Plan Analysis:

Expertly review and interpret civil engineering blueprints, topographical maps, and technical specifications.

Quantity Take-offs:

Perform detailed material and labor take-offs for earthwork (cut/fill, grading) and site utilities (stormwater, sanitary sewer, water mains).

Proposal Development:

Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including cost estimates, project schedules, and scope of work clarifications.

Vendor Coordination:

Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Site Assessments:

Conduct site visits when necessary to identify potential logistical challenges or environmental factors that could impact costs.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers and field superintendents to ensure a seamless handoff from the bidding phase to construction. Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
