Position Summary:
The new member of the team will focus on supplying high-volume, low-margin appliances for multi-unit residential and commercial projects. They will leverage existing vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing, drive volume, and increase volume rebate opportunities for Bekins Inc. On the road- local travel, outside sales. Monday - Friday work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of specification development, quoting, delivery, and installation logistics through third-party vendors while minimizing costs for Bekins Inc. Develop leads and prepare project quotes. Secure projects and manage purchasing, delivery, and third-party installation coordination. Negotiate with vendors to achieve the lowest upfront cost and maximize backend support, including spiffs, vendor rebates, co-op funds, and MDF. Set pricing strategically to win business while protecting margin. Clearly define delivery, installation, scheduling, and site requirements, and price accordingly so customer expectations are met and company profit is preserved.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2-5 years of experience in project sales, estimating, account management, operations, or a related role involving commercial projects. Proven experience developing leads, preparing quotations, and successfully securing new business opportunities. Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to balance competitive pricing strategies and profit margin objectives. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and customer expectations. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and vendors. Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to identify potential issues, ensure accuracy, and maintain quality throughout all phases of a project.
