Cost Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for analyzing engineering drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and proposals to develop accurate labor, time, and cost estimates. This role plays a vital part in pricing, planning, vendor selection, and overall cost effectiveness of manufacturing projects. What You'll Be Doing Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates based on engineering documentation Analyze BOMs, manufacturing processes, and labor requirements Research, compile, and maintain cost data for pricing and margin analysis Identify fixed and variable costs and recommend pricing strategies Collaborate with Sales to align estimates with customer expectations Work closely with Engineering and Tooling to determine internal and external costs Support vendor selection and cost effectiveness evaluations Maintain and improve estimating processes and documentation Communicate estimate status and coverage needs proactively We're Looking For Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities Effective communicator who collaborates well across teams Detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured manufacturing environment Adaptable mindset with comfort navigating change and system transitions Cultural Notes Family-owned organization with strong emphasis on stability, loyalty, and long-term employment Hands-on, collaborative engineering culture Professional, high-accountability environment Team-oriented with leadership visibility

$70,500.00 - $77,500.00 per year
